Teenager's artwork goes global

A Felpham teenager will have his artwork seen around the world.

Jay Barker (16) won a countrywide contest to design a logo for the British Dyslexia Association's international conference.

Called Making Links, Jay's logo will be used on all the conference's publicity material this year.

Jay will use his 100 prize money to further his interest in graphics and design. He designed the image during his graphics course at Slindon College where he was a pupil last year.

Peter Saysell, the college's deputy head and head of art and design, said: "I am very proud that Jay has achieved this award in this national competition."
