Television whirlwind for Littlehampton’s Sussex Tornados cheerleaders

The Tornados will be among 15 teams competing for £100,000 prize money in ITV 1’s Let’s Get Gold over the next three nights.

Judges include England footballer Rio Ferdinand and former England test cricket captain Freddie Flintoff and the show is hosted by broadcaster Vernon Kay.

Filming took place at ITV’s Fountain Studios in Wembley at the beginning of last month, when the Tornados pitted their gravity-defying skills against a host of other sporting teams.

Let’s Get Gold is on ITV 1 tonight at 9pm.
