The Green Man at Ringmer is staging a charity auction on May 24 in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

More than 50 tempting lots will go under the hammer, including days out, meals out, glider flights, car servicing and food hampers.

Emma Roberts, 11, of Lewes, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, has donated a Chelsea FC shirt signed by John Terry.

Meanwhile, Ringmer dustcart driver Kevin Miller, 46, is busing training for the gruelling 24 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District next month to raise money for the charity.
