The Big Singhits right note for thehospice

Twenty local choirs headed to St John's Church, St Leonards, to take part in a Big Sing in aid of St Michael's Hospice.

Laura Sully, at the Hospice said: “The church had a great atmosphere. The day raised over £2,000. A massive thank you to organiser Duncan Reid, volunteers, and of course the choirs who all sounded amazing.”

Choirs involved were; Oresome Sounds, Peasmarsh and District WI Choir, Tune Up Tuesdays, Sea Tones, Sound Waves, Vocality, Harmony One, Melodians, Christchurch Singers, All Aloud, Sage Maverick, Hastings Voice Squad, Rother Community Choir, Treble Clefs, St John’s Church Choir, Hastings Gospel Soul Choir, Quintasia, Friends Unlimited, JACS and the Hastings Philharmonic Choir. All choirs ended the day spectacularly with a collective performance at 9pm.
