The Giants of Bredeopen day tomorrow
Brede Steam Engine Society (Brede village, Waterworks Lane, near Rye) has a special family Open Day tomorrow (Saturday August 1) 10-4pm.
Discover Brede’s rich water pumping heritage engineering at it’s British best. Step back in time and relive the past with ‘The Giants of Brede’ water pumping engines - which will be operated throughout the day. Expert guides will be on hand to explain the history of the pumps and give guided tours.
