The Great Seahaven Bake-off

MEMBERS of Seaford and Peacehaven Horticultural Societies and Bishopstone Village Hall are being invited to become ‘MasterChef’ style judges for the evening on Thursday February 16 at St Leonard’s Church Hall in Seaford.

The champion bakers of Peacehaven, Seaford and Bishopstone will be going head to head in five baking categories with the audience tasting and marking victoria sponges, scones, rock cakes, sausage rolls and cup cakes.

The champion baker of Peacehaven Horticultural Society Marilyn Nolan said: “I can’t wait to bake off against two other local champions and I hope the audience enjoy the interactive experience of ‘judging’ the entries.

“Also raising money for charity is just the icing on the cake!”

The overall champion will be presented with a cup by Seaford Mayor Linda Wallraven.

Proceeds will go to WAVES in Seaford and the horticultural societies.

Waves provides a family support service in Seaford.
