Theatre raises funds for Seaford Lifeguards

Seaford Musical Theatre raised £252 for Seaford Lifeguards through collections held at its performances of Beauty and the Beast last week, thanks to the generosity of spectators.

Chairman of the Lifeguards Peter Gwilliam was delighted with the donations from audiences.

The voluntary service keeps Seaford Beach free from danger and also provides a first aid service at the Barn Theatre where Seaford Musical Theatre performs.

The group has previously raised money for local charities at its performances and is keen to do so again.
