“With the exceptional choice of treatments and approaches offered by highly qualified and experienced therapists – The Elysian Centre will be an inter-disciplinary centre of healing, well-being and information for people in East Sussex and the south east as a whole.”

Renée has had her own private psychotherapy and coaching practice for more than 20 years.

In just a few sessions, Renée believes she can help people overcome debilitating symptoms, including stress, depression and addictive behaviour, without dredging up the past or lengthy sessions of therapy or medication.

“My clients also learn about what we need to be emotionally healthy and resilient, so that life can continue to be a flourishing process of growth and learning,” she said.

Alongside her one-to-one therapy sessions, Renée offers a variety of programmes, workshops and talks on emotional health, stress, parenting and the creative mind.

Renée trains people in the workplace on stress management and the development of resilience, and is a frequent lecturer for Human Givens College, giving courses on anger management and brief therapy skills and teaches the Human Givens Diploma.

The centre will be holding an open day for anyone interested in its wide range of therapies from 12pm on Sunday, May 29.

Visitors will have the chance to meet and chat to Renée and the other therapists, tour the studios and try out classes and workshops.
