Thieves ruin Yapton villagers’ Christmas

Thieves broke into a house in Main Road, on December 21, Sussex Police revealed on Christmas Eve.

The suspects are believed to have entered the property through the back door at sometime between 2am and 4am.

Intruders stole a number of electrical items, as well as Christmas presents which had been left out in the house in preparation for the festive celebration.

The thieves also managed to steal a car which had been parked in the rear yard of the home.

It was a black Honda CV, police said.

Detectives are now appealing for help in tracing those responsible for the Christmas crime.
