Thousands enjoy family playday fun

The free event, held last Wednesday, featured activities for the children such as face painting, a bouncy castle, a tea cup ride, juggling, a water slide, an art and craft den and a foam pool.
A range of demonstrations were also held every half an hour in the entertainment centre, giving the children the opportunity to try new activities such as kung fu and gymnastics.

“It was amazing to see so many children enjoying so many activities. It was amazing as always.”
There were 55 stalls, all of which featured free gifts, raffles and activities, with Thomas Cook and Perfume Shop giving away gift bags and raffle tickets.
Bacon and Co. estate agents, the main sponsors of the event, held a ‘throw a sponge at a real estate agent’ game for the children.
