Thousands of knives handed in to police
Sussex Police collected more than 3,700 knives and other weapons during the five weeks of the national knives amnesty.
Thirty two sealed bins, placed at police stations across the force area have been opened this week and their contents counted. They have included a variety of weapons such as ornanmental knives, small axes and much more.
