Three casualties after A21 crash

Three people were injured after a car crash on the A21 in Robertsbridge yesterday (Sunday, October 18).

One of the drivers – a man in his 60s – was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with chest and shoulder pain.

Two other casualties were taken to the Conquest Hospital but their injuries are unclear.

Firefighters had to rescue one of the casualties from the crash at around 5.35pm.

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliances from Batttle and Burwash and one officer, plus three South East Coast Ambulance Service ambulances and two cars attended the incident.

Fire crews made the area safe before leaving the scene at 7:05pm.
