Three escape fire at St Mary's Road home
A fire at a terraced home in Hastings is being treated as suspicious, police have said.
Three people escaped from the building after the fire broke out on the top floor of a property in St Mary's Road on Tuesday.
Sussex Police said that at least one person was taken to the Conquest Hospital with smoke inhalation.
The Ridge and Bohemia, who were called out just before 6.30pm, used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, which left one room severely damaged.
