Three houses burgled overnight in Chichester

Police are appealing for information after three houses in Chichester were burgled overnight.

Sometime between around 3am and 6am on Tuesday, January 5, two homes in Chatsworth Road and another in nearby Caernarvon Road were raided.

Items taken included handbags, bank cards, mobile phones, a camera, cash and car keys, though no cars were stolen, police said.

Property from one of the burglaries in Chatsworth Road was found abandoned in a holdall on ground off Bognor Road later the same morning.

Police are investigating and anyone who saw any suspicious activity in that area off Bognor Road in the early hours of Tuesday is asked to contact them via 101@sussex,pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting Serial 164 of 05/01.
