Three people hospitalised after two Hastings crashes

Three people including a cyclist were taken to hospital after suffering injuries in two separate crashes within an hour of each other in Hastings last night (Tuesday, November 15).

The first involved a car and a cyclist on Old London Road at around 6.20pm.

The cyclist, who was believed to be in his 40s, was treated by paramedics for a potential head injury before taking him to the Conquest Hospital.

An hour later at around 7.20pm, emergency services were called to The Ridge West after reports of a crash between a car and a van outside Beauport Park caravan site.

Paramedics treated a woman in her 30s for back pain and another woman who was hurt in the crash.

Both were taken to the Conquest for further checks and treatment.
