Three people rescued from bottom of cliff at Hastings Country Park

Coastguard rescue teams were sent to Hastings Country Park this evening (Thursday, February 18).

HM Coastguard received a report of three people being stuck at the bottom of a cliff shortly after 5.20pm. 

A spokesperson for Maritime & Coastguard Agency said: “Hastings and Bexhill Coastguard Rescue Teams were sent and assisted in locating the casualties and rescuing the people to a place of safety.

“An RNLI lifeboat from Hastings was also sent to assist in the rescue.”
