Three sentenced for assault

Nathan Sinclair, 21, of Hook Lane, Aldingbourne, Daniel Yates, 21, of Latham Close, Littlehampton, and a 17-year old boy, were sentenced at Chichester Crown Court on Tuesday, October 25.

They pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to causing actual bodily harm to the 26-year-old man in his flat at Bayford Road, Littlehampton on the afternoon of Saturday, August 20.

Sinclair, who also pleaded guilty to assault by beating, was sentenced to 20 months and six months imprisonment, to run concurrently.

Yates was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment.

The boy was sentenced to 12 months detention in a young offenders institution, and a training order.

The incident occurred after the offenders went to the address over a small debt.
