“Visitors to our recent U3A Showcase morning could have been left in no doubt that here was a very well run and popular society.

“Visitors were welcomed with enthusiasm by volunteers as they entered the two halls, where convenors of groups informed them about the groups they were running.

A slide show in one of the halls showed visitors some visual delights and they were also able to discover about the monthly coffee mornings and talks on offer to members.

“Clearly, it was unsurprising that new members were signed up. Well done to all involved but in particular to the main forces behind the event Lorna and Tricia.”
