Crowhurst and District Horticultural Society (CDHS) hosted the event last Friday (February 17) at which Steve Moody from Frogheath Landscapes, Burwash presented what Mary Boorman, Chair of CDHS says was a fascinating talk. “Steve gave a really interesting and enlightening talk, “ she said. “He showed us, with the assistance of a power point presentation, his teams’ success at developing two award winning gardens - at both Chelsea and Hampton Court Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Flower shows. It was fascinating and gave real insight into ‘What it takes to make an award winning RHS Garden’ which involves a lot of planning, organisation, lateral thinking and sheer hard work!”

Around 25 people attended what Mary describes as a great event, adding: “We were delighted that alongside our own members several people from other villages and societies attended and enjoyed the evening; many of whom gave positive feedback with us which we welcome!
