Riders such as Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish, Marcel Kittel and Lars Boom will begin stage seven at Camberley in Surrey and will be travelling through Horsham at approximately 11.50am on their way through Sussex to Brighton.

Kittel from Germany started things off in Liverpool on Sunday September 7, by winning stage one. This was followed by Australian Mark Renshaw taking the lead in stage two and Italy’s Edoardo Zardini at the top of the Tumble in stage three.

For the Worcester to Bristol stretch on stage four, Michal Kwiatkowski beat the rest by three seconds, resulting in his current leading position, and Austrian Matthias Brandle escaped a four-man breakaway in stage five to push ahead. He added another stage win today (Friday September 12).

But the current overall leader is England’s Alex Dowsett, who finished stage six a second behind Brandle.

Kwiatkowski’s teammate Mark Cavendish is currently in 53rd position (after crashing into a car in stage one) and fellow British rider and defending champion, Wiggins is in seventh position.

So whether you are a cycling fanatic or just want to be involved in this fantastic event, make sure you arrive well before 11am to make the most of this exciting time.
