Town's annual Christmas shopping
CROWDS packed the streets for Steyning's annual late-night Christmas shopping event, to shop, eat and be merry.
The town's traders dressed up and opened late, there were stalls in the High Street, which was closed to traffic, fairground rides in the car park and entertainment from the Beach Bateria samba band.
A jazz band, morris dancing, choirs and a giant raffle also kept the happy throng entertained.
The event, organised by Steyning Chamber of Trade, attracted hundreds of visitors last Wednesday.
