The National Trust (NT) at Bodiam Castle is extending a warm invitation to one and all to try wassailing this Christmas and enjoy traditions both old.

Stroll around the grounds and see the castle decorated in its finest festive medieval greenery. Children can take a trip to see Father Christmas in his castle grotto or join craft activities, whilst grown-ups enjoy a mince pie and glass of hot wassail (hot mulled cider).

Events take place throughout December on 5/6,12/13,19/20,21/22, 10.30-3.30pm.

Tickets £10.60 for non NT adult members (NT members £2), £8.50 children 18 months -15 years, £4 children under 18 months. Prices include castle admission, a visit to Father Christmas, a mice pie and glass of wassail for adults, a gift for children and craft activity. Booking essential 01580 831324.
