TRAFFIC ALERT: More road work delays in Worthing

MORE road-work delays will hit drivers in Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, which is closed in two places.

The West Sussex County Council announced the works today (Wednesday, March 24) after work began on the scheme to lay a traffic-calming red surface '” known as a "gateway feature" '” at each end of the road.

The road will be closed in two parts, with a signed diversion route in place.

Work is being carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm today, and is expected to be finished by the end of tomorrow (Thursday, March 26) afternoon, weather permitting.
