B2145 closed for A27 drainage works

Work will be carried out between 8pm and 6am, to resurface the southern part of Whyke Road roundabout.

During the work there will be a closure of the B2145 southbound junction with the A27 Whyke Roundabout.

Drivers wishing to continue along the B2145 southbound will be diverted onto Stockbridge Roundabout, leading to the A286 and B2201, and will follow the B2201 toward Hunston where it will rejoin the B2145 northbound at the B2145 and B2166 Roundabout where the diversion ends.

Drivers wishing to access the northbound B2145 at Whyke roundabout will follow the above diversion route in reverse. A Highways Agency spokesman said: “Due to several problems experienced on site, work is due to be complete by the end of May, weather permitting.”
