The owners along with 50 other residents were evacuated from the block.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reels and water jets.

An electrical fault with a television set is believed to have caused the fire and it is being treated as an accident.

Crews gave advice to the owners before leaving the scene.
