Firefighters called to city centre
Firefighters were called to Chichester city centre this afternoon (May 5).
Crews were called to the Boots store in North Street just after midday.
A spokesman for the fire service said they were called to an automatic fire alarm.
The incident turned out to be a false alarm and crews left the scene soon after, the spokesman added.
