‘Sinkhole’ closes Eastbourne town centre road
An Eastbourne town centre road has been forced to close this afternoon (May 23) due to reports of a sinkhole.
Susans Road is shut between Pevensey Road and Seaside Road due to the hole which has opened up in the carriageway – according to East Sussex Highways.
A spokesperson said, “We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused during this time.”
