TRAVEL UPDATE: Train and road delays in Observer area

The closure of New Park Road, in Chichester, for sewage works is causing delays on the A27 bypass, near to the Bognor Bridge roundabout.

The roadworks are set to continue for another two weeks.

Rail passengers are also facing delays with delays of up to 20 minutes between Worthing and Littlehampton and Worthing and Barnham until further notice (as of 5.30pm).

It is believed there is a broken down train on the line.

5.40pm: We are also getting reports of delays on the A286 Stockbridge Road, in Chichester. The carriageway is partially blocked and there is slow traffic at Stockbridge Roundabout due to a broken down vehicle.
