A259 closed between Camber and Winchelsea

According to the AA, the road was shut due to a fuel spillage just before 9.45am.

According to witnesses, the spillage has affected several miles of road and firefighters and police are at the scene.

The AA said the road is currently blocked with queueing traffic on A259 South Undercliff both ways from Rock Channel to A268 Wish Street.

Police said the A259 is closed in both directions between Camber and Winchelsea.
