A259 closed in Bexhill due to accident

The A259 in Bexhill was closed this morning due to an accident.

At around 6.30am, King Offa Way was closed eastbound by police after a vehicle collided with a tree, according to traffic reports.

Traffic was coping well despite the closure. The road has since reopened but there is still residual traffic as of 8.40am.

Sussex Police has been approached for more information.
