A259 reopens after crash

The A259 has reopened after a crash shut it for several hours, according to the AA.

The incident took place on the A259 South Coast road near to Downland Avenue in Peacehaven.

There were severe delays due to the incident and police urged people to avoid the area.

Sussex Police and the ambulance service have been approached for comment.
