A259 reopens between Hastings and Rye after collision

The A259 was closed at Guestling this afternoon following a collision.

Traffic reports said the incident has happened near the Harborough Nurseries Garden Centre.

The road was closed both ways from Broad Street to Butchers Lane.

Police are on scene assisting with recovery.

The road reopened at about 4.30pm, according to an eyewitness.

The incident affected traffic between Icklesham and Guestling.

Stagecoach South East said the 100 service was diverted via Fairlight while the road was closed.
