A272 shut in Haywards Heath following accident
A major road through Haywards Heath has been closed following an accident this afternoon (Wednesday March 26).
The A272 South Road in Haywards Heath is shut and there is queueing traffic in both directions between the Haywards Road junction and the Church Road junction.
Reports are that the accident involved a van and a pedestrian.
Congestion has spread eastbound to the A273 Isaac’s Lane junction.
The road has been closed since around 4pm.
