Blazing bungalow in Rye

Firefighters tackled a burning bungalow in Rye in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, September 29).

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue crews were called to Rye Road at around 2.20am.

According to the fire service the bungalow was ‘well alight’ on arrival.

They used two main jets and one hydrant to extinguish the fire.
