Car crashes into Horsham town centre shop

A Jaguar and a Horsham town centre shop have been damaged after a crash this afternoon (Wednesday July 29).

The Carfax road is closed while emergency services deal with the incident, which happened at the Cook shop at around 2.30pm.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said no one is believed to be seriously injured after the blue Jaguar went through the glass window of the shop.

The spokesperson added that the driver is out of the car, and a female pedestrian who may have been involved in the incident is conscious.

Two fire engines, three police cars, an ambulance and a paramedic car have been called to the scene of the collision.
