Chichester car thief uses stolen bank card at nearby business

According to Sussex Police, officers were called to Priory Road shortly after 10am after a woman found her car had been broken into and her purse stolen from inside.

"It is thought the theft happened some time between 7.30pm on Thursday and 9.30am the following day," a spokesperson said.

"A bank card contained within the purse was later used at a business nearby.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time, or who may have any further information, is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 326 of 21/02."
