Collision on busy Eastbourne road

A car and a taxi collided on a busy Eastbourne road last night (August 16).

A 720 taxi and a Fiat Panda were involved in the incident in Langney Road at around 6pm, according to reports.

Ambulance teams were sent to the scene.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Langley Road at approximately 6pm yesterday (Sunday, August 16).

“One ambulance crew attended and one patient was taken to Eastbourne District General after being assessed and treated at the scene.”
