“I’m grateful to all who are working on getting these projects in place particularly during the pandemic restrictions.”
Crawley Station was allocated £50,000 and has seen enhanced seating already installed, with improvements to the waiting area with heating as well as a defibrillator set for completion in April.
The £80,000 allocation for improvements at Ifield Station will see a waiting shelter, customer information screen and a defibrillator set to be ready for use next month.
Three Bridges Station, also allocated £80,000, has seen improvements to seating as well as toilet facilities, with a waiting shelter and two defibrillators set for completion in the coming weeks.
