Delays on A23 following accident at Handcross
One lane of the A23 northbound has been blocked at Handcross following an accident this evening (Friday September 6).
There has been queuing traffic northbound between Handcross and the M23 junction, due to an accident involving a car and a van in the roadworks area which has damaged the central reservation.
The congestion has stretched back to Warninglid.
The whole northbound carriageway was earlier closed for around 30 minutes.
The accident happened southbound but affected the northbound.
