Disruption to trains between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport

Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 25 minutes, National Rail said.

Because of the engineering work taking place between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges, a reduced amount of lines are open.

Due to this, congestion is building up as trains are queuing up to make their way through the the area.

Disruption is expected until around 4pm.

Southern and Thameslink are currently setting up a replacement bus service between Haywards Heath and Three Bridges to run every 30 minutes to supplement the train service.

These buses should be in place soon.
