Drivers advised to avoid A24 Findon following accident

The A24 between Findon and Worthing is currently closed after a lorry overturned around 3.30am this morning.

The articulated lorry was travelling northbound when it collided with a tree and overturned. No-one was injured.

Emergency services and recovery is currently on scene but it could take several hours to clear the debris and oil.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes. The diversion is using the A280 north and southbound and rejoining or leaving the A24 at Findon.
