Driving tests in Eastbourne are being cancelled due to the traffic chaos in town.

This policy will be kept under review, a spokesperson for the DVSA said.

This comes as a significant chunk of the seafront has been closed off due to the Claremont Hotel fire.

A stretch of Grand Parade has been shut ever since the devastating blaze on November 22 last year.

There are also roadworks currently in Seaside, St Philips Avenue, Terminus Road, and along the A259 Pevensey Bay Road.
