Eastbourne town centre road partially blocked following collision

A road in Eastbourne town centre has been left partially blocked following a collision, according to the AA.

The AA said the collision happened in The Avenue by its junction with Upperton Gardens.

Sussex Police said it responded to a report of a collision at around 11.10am on Monday, June 27.

An AA spokesperson said, “Partially blocked and delays due to crash on A2040 The Avenue both ways near Upperton Gardens. Police directing traffic.”

Officers added, “Recovery services were called. The road is open.”
