'˜He lived life to the full' - family pay tribute to man killed on A23

The family of a 27-year-old man who died in a road crash on the A23 have paid loving tributes to him.

In a statement issued by police, the family of Jason Skinner said he would “always be in our hearts.”

Jason, from Redhill, came off his motorbike on the A23 in Bonehurst Road, Horley, outside Erbidge Court at around 3.15pm on Saturday March 18.

He died at the scene, despite desperate attempts by paramedics to save him.

In a statement the family said, “Jason was our son, a dad, a brother, an uncle, and a grandson, and had a lovely caring, warm, big heart. He loved to make people laugh especially with that big grin of his.

“He lived life to the full, enjoying music and sport, snooker being a favourite. Jason worked hard and always looked forward to payday where he liked to treat himself.

“We as a family are very proud of Jason achieving many goals in life and overcoming any obstacles in his way.

“We are devastated and struggling to come to terms with the sudden tragic loss of Jason, we take great comfort in the knowledge that Jason was loved by so many.

“We all love you Jason and will always be in our hearts.”

Meanwhile, police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to call Surrey Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01483 639922, quoting reference number P17064202.
