Horse rescued after fall into river bank in Bolney
Emergency services rescued a horse that had fallen about ten feet down a steep river bank in Bolney this morning (Thursday July 3).
Fire crews were called to Stairbridge Lane at about 7.20am.
Technical rescue unit officers lifted the horse from the bank using a tractor and animal rescue equipment.
A vet was also in attendance.
