Lorry overturns near busy Sussex road

A lorry has overturned near a busy road in Sussex today (May 30), according to traffic reports.

The incident was reported to have happened between Coldean Lane and the A27 Lewes Road, Stanmer Park area, at around 11.30am.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “At 11.05am on Saturday (May 30) Sussex Police were called to a report of an overturned lorry on the A270 Lewes Road, Brighton. The driver suffered minor injuries.

“Partner agencies, including Highways England, were informed and the road closure was removed at 6.50pm.”
