Two people suffered minor injuries from a collision on the A27 at Lewes shortly before 9am today (Wednesday November 26).
The collision, between a black Ford KA and white Volkswagen Caddy, happened on the A27 eastbound between the Kingston and Southerham roundabout.
A 21-year-old woman from Brighton, the driver of the KA, suffered minor whiplash injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital to be checked over.
A 59-year-old man from Crawley, the driver of the Volkswagen, had a slight wrist injury but did not go to hospital.
The road was closed while emergency services were on scene and the debris was cleared from the road.
The road fully reopened at 10.30am.
