Motorbike accident on A27
MOTORISTS were held up on the A27 this morning (Tuesday, October 11) due to a minor road traffic accident involving a motorbike.
A man is said to have been knocked off his motorbike at around 7.30am at Hillside, Southwick. The reasons behind the incident are not known.
Police diverted traffic via the Holmbush roundabout while officers attended the incident, closing one of the lanes.
By 7.55am both carriageways were open and fully operational.
No ambulance was called to the scene and the motorcyclist was left with only minor injuries.
