Multi-vehicle accident on A27 at Polegate and road blocked near Lewes after crash

Two road traffic accidents are causing delays in East Sussex this evening (Thursday, February 18).

According to traffic reports, three vehicles have been involved in a crash on A27 Polegate By Pass at A22 Polegate Road. The collision reportedly happened on the roundabout.

The road is said to be partially blocked with queuing traffic in the area. Traffic was already slow due to roadworks.

Elsewhere, a single-vehicle accident is affecting traffic between Lewes and Newhaven.

Traffic reports said Puddinghoe Road is blocked both ways in Rodmell due to an overturned vehicle.
