Pedestrian ‘seriously injured’ in collision with cyclist in Lancing

A 65-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment after she was seriously injured in a collision in Lancing.

The pedestrian was in collision with a 30-year-old man riding a pedal cycle outside the Mayfair Hair salon in Crabtree Lane, Lancing, at between 11.15am and 11.45am on Friday, September 11, police said.

She sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment, according to police.

The cyclist was unhurt.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
